The Limber Grove Trail runs between Horseshoe and Fourmile Campgrounds near Fairplay and can be accessed from either campground. It is a 1.5 mile moderate hike that passes through a small grove of ancient Limber and Bristlecone pine trees. The Mosquito Range Heritage Initiative has produced a printable brochure to guide you on your hike.
Take Highway 285 south from Fairplay for 1.3 miles to County Road 18 and proceed 7 miles to Horseshoe Campground and park on a wide part of the road before entering the campground.
